Supabind

Exporting Data

Move your extracted data into spreadsheets or directly into your Supabind transformation pipelines.

Overview

Extraction is only the first step. Once the AI has turned your PDF into structured rows and columns, you need to move that data to its destination. Supabind offers three primary paths: Local Files for offline work, Workspace Datasets for immediate cleaning/binding, and Automation Exports for large-scale enterprise data movement.

Local Excel & CSV Download

From the Extraction Results split-view, you can download any individual table directly to your computer.

Microsoft Excel (.xlsx)

Best for complex tables with multiple sheets or if you need to perform manual formatting in Excel.

Comma Separated (.csv)

The standard for data portability. Ideal if you plan to import the data into a different SQL database or CRM.

Saving to Workspace

The Save to Workspace button is the recommended path for most users. It converts your AI extraction into a standard Supabind dataset.

Your data appears immediately in the My Files list.

The system automatically detects column types (Dates, Numbers, Strings).

You can immediately apply Transform Templates to clean up the AI output.

Bulk Export to FTP / SFTP

If you have connected an FTP/SFTP server, you can export your results back to your production server in one click.

Export to FTP

This feature allows you to browse your remote server's folder structure directly from the editor. Select your target directory, and Supabind will upload the structured file securely.

Connecting to Workflows

PDF Extract results are designed to be the starting point for Automated Workflows. Once a file is saved to your workspace, it acts as a "Source Node."

Naming Convention Tip

When saving to your workspace, Supabind defaults the filename to [original_name]_extracted.csv. We recommend renaming this to something descriptive like Supplier_A_Catalog_May_2024 to make it easier to find in your Transformed Files list.
