Learn how to import datasets from Google Drive and FTP/SFTP, configure automatic synchronization, and keep your Supabind workspace continuously updated with the latest files.
The Import Data feature enables you to connect external storage providers such as Google Drive, FTP, and SFTP to import datasets directly into Supabind.
Instead of manually uploading files each time, you can configure automatic synchronization to continuously monitor selected folders and automatically import newly added datasets into your workspace.
Once imported, datasets become immediately available for data transformation, workflow automation, validation, reporting, and analytics without requiring additional uploads.
Automated imports eliminate repetitive manual uploads by continuously monitoring external folders for new files. Whenever new datasets are detected, Supabind imports them automatically, helping keep your workflows, reports, and transformations synchronized with the latest data.
Connect your Google Drive account to securely import datasets directly into Supabind. Instead of downloading files manually, you can browse your Drive, select a folder, and automatically synchronize newly added files into your workspace.
Enable Auto Sync to continuously monitor a selected Google Drive folder. Supabind periodically checks the folder and imports newly added files without requiring any manual uploads.
Authenticate your Google account and grant Supabind permission to access the folders that you want to import.
Choose the Google Drive folder that Supabind should monitor for incoming datasets.
Turn on the Auto Sync option to continuously monitor the selected folder for new files.
Choose how frequently Supabind checks Google Drive for newly uploaded files.
Save your settings to activate continuous synchronization.
Connect your FTP or SFTP server to securely import datasets into Supabind. After configuring the connection, you can browse remote directories, import files manually, or enable automatic synchronization to continuously monitor a folder for newly uploaded files.
Enable the Auto Sync Monitor to automatically import new files from your configured FTP/SFTP directory. Supabind regularly checks the selected folder and imports newly detected datasets without requiring manual uploads.
Select the FTP or SFTP directory that Supabind should monitor. Every new supported file uploaded to this location is detected automatically.
Configure how frequently Supabind checks the monitored directory for new files.
Configure how Supabind should handle files that already exist in your workspace.
Click Run Now to immediately perform a synchronization without waiting for the next scheduled polling interval.
Save your configuration to activate continuous background synchronization. Supabind will begin monitoring the selected directory using your configured settings.
The Synchronization Logs provide a complete history of all automated import activities. Every synchronization attempt is recorded, allowing you to verify successful imports, identify failures, and troubleshoot synchronization issues.
Following these recommendations helps ensure reliable imports, consistent synchronization, and improved data quality across your automated workflows.
If your automated imports are not working as expected, verify your connection settings, folder permissions, synchronization configuration, and duplicate handling rules. If the issue persists, our support team is available to help.
