Projects & Data Sources

Learn how to organize your analysis into projects and connect multiple datasets for querying.

Overview

In Supabind, an Analytics Project is a container for your work. It allows you to group related datasets together so you can run cross-table queries, build visualizations, and save your AI-powered insights in one place.

Creating a New Project

To start, click the New Project button in the Data Analytics dashboard.

Selecting Data Sources

A project can contain one or many files. You select these from your existing workspace files during the project creation or editing phase.

Source Selection Features
  • Multi-File Selection: Toggle the checkboxes next to files to add them to your analysis.

  • Selected Filter: Click the "Selected" tab to see only the files currently attached to the project.

  • Live Metadata: View the row count, file size, and upload date for every potential source.

Supported File Formats

CSV
XLSX
XLS
TXT
XML

Note: To ensure high performance, individual source files are currently optimized for datasets up to 100,000 rows.

Managing Existing Projects

You can modify your project configuration at any time without losing your saved SQL queries or chart settings.

Edit Project

Add or remove data sources from the project settings modal.

Delete Project

Remove the project container. This does not delete the source files from your workspace.

Pro Tip: When editing a project, use the Clear All button in the source selector to quickly reset your project data and start a fresh analysis.
