Overview

Data is more powerful when you can see the story it tells. Supabind’s Visualization Engine is built directly into the Analytics Workspace. Once the AI SQL Assistant returns a dataset, you can instantly map those rows to axes, colors, and series to build production-ready visuals.

Creating your first chart

To begin visualizing, ensure you have a table open in the Data Preview area. Click the Charts button located in the top workspace toolbar.

The Workflow:

  1. Run a query using the AI SQL Assistant (e.g., "Monthly revenue for 2023").
  2. Click Charts in the toolbar once the data loads.
  3. Select your chart type and assign your X-Axis and Y-Axis from the detected columns.
  4. Adjust colors and labels to finalize the insight.

Supported Chart Types

Line & Area

Best for tracking values over time or identifying trend shifts.

Bar Charts

Ideal for comparing quantities across different categories.

Pie & Donut

Used to show proportions and percentage distributions.

Exporting & Sharing

Download Image

Export charts as high-res PNGs for reports.

Interactive Hover

Hover over data points in the workspace for live values.

Pro Tip: Click Save as Template after building a chart. The next time you upload a file with the same headers, your dashboard will update automatically.
